Buffalo Medicine

Every week I pull a spirit animal card to reveal what animal wisdom is coming through to guide us through the week.

I've had the experience over the past couple of months of one particular card - Buffalo - coming up a total of three times. Clearly, there is some important animal wisdom here that needs to be heard.

The three readings were:

1. Ok this is an amazing card. For those of you who have been feeling like you've been setting all the intentions, visualising your butt off and praying to God/Great Spirit/The Universe/Buddha/Grandma and waiting for stuff to manifest - well, your prayers are being heard my friend.

Buffalo is a super positive card. Your prayers are being answered. Abundance is on it's way baby!

Buffalo medicine is a good omen! It tells us that our prayers and intentions are being heard, and being answered. If you don’t know what to ask for, but know that you want better than whatever shitty job/relationship/health you’ve got going on now, then just ask for the highest good for all. Things can only get better.

2. The post last time Buffalo came up was - Buffalo medicine is a good omen! It tells us that our prayers and intentions are being heard, and being answered. If you don’t know what to ask for, but know what you want better than whatever shitty job/relationship/health you’ve got going on now, then just ask for the highest good for all. Things can only get better.

However - it appears that maybe we have been a little too fixated on ourselves when it comes to prayers and intention setting… and missed the highest good for all part of the message.

This week Buffalo is asking us to practice asking for the highest outcome for all involved, when doing prayer/intention/goal setting stuffs. Not being fixated on whats in it for you, what can you call in or achieve for yourself but what can you do to be of service for others? What can you do to help others? We live in an interconnected world, and by helping others, you help yourself too

3. Adulting is hard yo. Sometimes you gotta ask for help. Buffalo reminds us of this, and that are requests are being heard. Be humble when asking, be grateful for all you have and are receiving. Then you’ll be golden.❤❤❤

Every morning I give a little thanks for all the blessings in my life including my fur friends Guru Dog Neve and Ratty.

Ok so let’s talk a little bit more about Buffalo animal wisdom.

As you guys know, Buffalo turned up for the third time in the past few months, to be our weekly animal wisdom guide. So I feel like it’s important to really get into this message, of our prayer being answered.

I know that there is a lot of information out there about manifestingor setting goals and intentions to call into our lives abundance, success, love, health, joy etc. And when we discover these things, like the Law of Attraction or Abraham Hicks and so forth… it can feel like THIS IS BRAND NEW INFORMATION, and we don’t exactly know how to wrap our minds around it and make sense of it all. Because this is not generally how we are brought up. So that can bring with it a healthy serving of skepticism. Which can block us from realising our dreams.

And I mean this in two ways:

Real-ising as in making our prayer/dreams/intentions come real or true. Because of impatience , non belief , feeling like we don’t deserve what we asked for and creating a story that feeling it works for EVERYONE but us.

And realising as in realising that oh, actually, that did manifest for me. My prayers were answered, my intentions were met. However - it just may not have been in the way you originally asked for.

Example. Perhaps you’ve been trying to manifest a loving partner into your life. Because you want to experience the joy of intimacy and feeling so deeply loved. But perhaps you’re still single. And you’re thinking , yeah my prayer are NOT being answered. But maybe along the way you’ve made a really good friend who is like a soul sister, and fulfils that loving connection ( though not in a romantic way) that you were calling in to your life. Or maybe a fur friend has walked in and lit up your life with unconditional love. So you have manifested a loving partner into your life, just not quite how you had imagined it.

We ask for what we want. But sometimes what we want is not actually what we need - and so the universe takes that request and up levels it , delivering sometimes that we couldn’t have thought of ourselves, but is actually better for us at that time.

And we can miss a lot of these things. We still hang on to those things on our vision board or that checklist of very specific items that still haven’t shown up. Without realising that if we take a minute and examine our lives, those feelings and experiences and lifestyle that we have been asking for HAVE actually turned up. Just not how we imagined in our heads.

Being grateful for all that we have right now, and all that is to come too, is so important to help us realise, that oh hey, actually things are better than I thought. And actually there is so much to be grateful for in my life, and so much that brings me joy/peace/happiness/love/fulfilment etc

If the only prayer you ever say in your entire life is thank you, it will be enough.
